Hi! I began my adult working life as a teacher in El Paso, Texas. Last year, thanks to the urging of educators who wanted to know my writing process, I published ZING! This book of letters is a small thank you to all the fine and committed educators I meet when I speak at conferences, universities, schools; a thank you to teachers, librarians, professors, and administrators who teach me. Certainly a major part of my journey is the family literacy initiative Día.
I hope you find this new educator section helpful. We welcome your suggestions.
