Visiting with Pat at ALA Midwinter

Pat Mora

If you’re heading for Chicago to attend ALA Midwinter, you can find Pat at these events:

Friday, January 30th
Pat is participating in the Day of Diversity: Dialogue and Action in Children’s Literature and Library Program, hosted by The Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC), in collaboration with the Children’s Book Council (CBC).

Saturday, January 31st, 1:00 p.m., Cinco Puntos booth #4129
Grab a sweet bread and join Cinco Puntos Press for a live broadcast of their new web series, #PanDulce. PanDulce pairs independent press writers for a lively discussion of their lives, loves and books — all in the time it takes to drink coffee and eat a sweet bread. During ALA, they’ll be broadcasting #PanDulce live from the Cinco Puntos booth; this episode features author, presenter and literary advocate Pat Mora and Claudia Guadalupe Martinez, author of Pig Park. If you’re not at Midwinter, you can stream it live.

Saturday, January 31st, 8:00 p.m., Hyatt Regency Chicago
Pat will attend the presentation of the Mora Award at REFORMA’s Noche de Cuentos.
